Follow the steps below to register your fingerprints- <em>be sure to press your finger using the same position and angle for each step. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing the initial registration steps, it is recommended that you do a second registration with the same finger but at a slightly different angle or position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registering additional positions increases the likelihood of the scanner successfully reading your fingerprint on the first attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fingerprint Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Remove The Battery Cover To Locate The <strong>&#8220;Reset&#8221; Button<\/strong> &amp; <em>Press The Reset Button<\/em> (The <strong>Green Light<\/strong> On The Keypad Will <strong>Flash 2 Times With 2 Beeps<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Press Your Finger<\/strong> To The Biometric Scanner &amp; <em>Remove<\/em> Your Finger When You Hear A <strong>Beep <\/strong>Followed By The <strong>Green Light Flashing Once<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Second After The First Beep, <em>Press <\/em>Your Finger In The <strong>Same Position<\/strong> <strong>&amp; Angle <\/strong>Again On the Scanner. (Remove Your Finger When You Hear A <strong>&#8220;Beep&#8221; <\/strong>Along With The Green Light Flashing Once)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Second After The Second Beep, Do The Same As Before Until You Hear 2 Beeps Followed By The Green Light Flashing Twice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, Your Fingerprint Has Been Successfully Registered!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If the red light flashes 5 times, this means the registration failed and you must restart the registration process again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>When &#8220;Re-Pressing&#8221; your finger on the scanner in steps 2,3, &amp; 4, you must proceed to the next step within 5 seconds, or the registration process will have to be restarted. (Make sure to use the same position and angle each time when re-pressing your finger).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Another Suggestion:<\/strong> To increase capture accuracy, register 3 or 4 times with different parts of the same finger to ensure most of the areas of the finger are registered and captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, open the safe with any finger you registered. If your print is accepted, you will hear 2 beeps and the green light will turn on. (You will have 5 seconds to turn the knob before the locking mechanism is reactivated).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the red light flashes 3 times along with 3 beeps, however, the fingerprint is invalid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Automatic Lockout Feature:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This safe has an automatic lockout feature that helps protect it from any unauthorized entry attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an invalid fingerprint is entered 3 consecutive times, you will hear 5 beeps and the red light will flash 5 times as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will activate a 60-second lockout.
